St. Luke 4:18-19

Respected Reverend/friend,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Love is the center of the mission and vision of Christ. God wants us to do this in our day-to-day life. Many people, irrespective of religion and caste in which we interact, have been excluded, rejected, and oppressed.

  • Those who experience the pain of poverty.
  • The orphans who have been left on the streets.
  • The differently-abled.
  • Those who are suffering from psychological issues.
  • The youngsters who are addicted to alcohol and drugs.
  • The elderly are ill-treated and left to fend for themselves in their old age.
  • Those who suffer from life-threatening diseases face the reality of death.

The Companions of the Unfortunate (Rohmayi Abeele) Charitable Trust, based in Mulanthuruthy is with the trust in God, serving such needy people who are in urgent need of the love and compassion of God.

The trust has been managed by the grace of God to help and resettle orphans, give food for those on the streets and for hospital patients and give help with medical treatment and education. We happily inform you that the trust has decided to build an old age home and palliative care center called “Bethshaino Abhaya Bhavan” on its own property, for the homeless, aged, and sick in Avarpadam, near Pepathi, Edakattuvayal Panchayat, Ernakulam district.

This Abhaya Bhavan is for caring for the aged above 60 and for all kinds of sick and bedridden people free of cost. The Bethshaino Abhaya Bhavan is proposed to be built in a nature-friendly and quiet place, far from the noise and fast life of cities. Don’t we have a responsibility to love and care for people as we have been cared for and loved by so many people in our life?

In St. Matthew 25:40 Jesus says ‘What you did to the least of these, you did to me.’ Life and history teach us that what you give in the name of the Lord and the gospel will never go waste. We request you to prayerfully be a part of our mission and work by supporting us in all ways you can.

The help and prayers of you, your family, and your friends will give us the inspiration and strength to work hard and selflessly to accomplish this project and mission.

We remember all the good people who have helped us thus far. We request you continue your prayers and help us in the coming days.

Being one in prayer and with sincere blessings

For the trust

Fr. C.C. Thomas (Thambi achen)
